About me
As a self-taught artist and inveterate doodler, I started my career as a political activist. It seemed that I gravitated more toward creation of posters and print media than politics. This led me to become one of the first paid employees for The New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG) as the head of the print and publications division. Leaving activism in the 1990s, I became a graphics and production freelancer and art director. An early adopter of Photoshop since 1990, I have been responsible for creating spot illustrations for Scholastic Publications, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, digital illustrations for Popular Science Magazine, and 3D product designs for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. For the last 10 years I have been attending the Art Students League in New York City
